SALMONE PUTTANESCA

We came here for a birthday dinner and it was perfect. Excellent atmosphere background music being played and decor of restaurant super nice and cozy. The service was extremely friendly. And the meals and appetizers were as wonderful as one could hope for. Anyone walking down this street should skip all the others and head into Trattoria Mediterranean. When we were looking in there was a local family leaving who were eager to tell us how good their favorite restaurant was and we agree.

LASAGNA AL FORNO

I found the restaurant to be cozy and inviting, it transported me to a village in Italy. The lasagna was light, and delicious. The service was awesome. Would definitely return.

CLASSIC CAESAR

I stumbled upon Trattoria, while browsing all the shops on Balboa Island, a few years ago. I have told many & even brought friends & visiting relatives to this wonderful, taste of Italy! The caesar salad is the very best I've ever had, and I loved the Spaghetti Bolognese! Trattoria is a must-stop for all!

LINGUINE SCALLOPS

Love this restaurant. I one day randomly went to lunch on Balboa and saw this restaurant and tried it out. Everything was delicious! Linguine was filled with flavor and the scallops were very juice. Been coming back to this restaurant ever since and as a matter of fact I'm going tonight for my girlfriend and I anniversary dinner.

LASAGNA AL FORNO

We enjoyed Trattoria and the service! The Lasagna Al Forno was light and delicious. Looking forward to returning back for another bite and stroll around Balboa Island.

FETTUCCINE CARBONARA

The fettuccine carbonara was excellent, as well as the calamari. Great service to the patrons of this restaurant.

RISOTTO ALLA PESCATORA

The shellfish was cooked to perfection. The risotto was tender but the flavor was absent. The menu states a hint of marinara. the regular chef must have been absent the night we visited. The entre was flooded with marinara and it overtook the risotto.
